Mynymbox (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a privacy-focused hosting provider. We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy, unless stated otherwise.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to our websites, Client Portal, and all other of our offered services (the “Services”).
What we collect
Account registration: For the account registration you only need an email address which also serves as your Client Portal username. We do not verify the email address, and you may use an email alias, anonymous email services etc.
No other personal data is collected by default.
How we use your data
To create and maintain your account and allow you to sign in to the Client Portal and use other Control Panels.
We do not send any marketing emails. We only send strictly service-related emails like invoices, service status, security or legal notices.
Data sharing and disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
Law enforcement: We comply with valid, binding, and properly scoped legal requests. We limit our response to the minimal data we hold (typically your email address used for your account). Where legally permitted, we will notify you of such requests.
Payment records
We accept cryptocurrencies through our in-house payment processors like BTCPayServer and Bitcart. No third parties involved during the payment process. We keep transaction IDs for our records, as proof of payment, sometimes as proof for account ownership, book keeping and billing auditing.
Data retention
We retain your email address for as long as your account is active. When you close your account, we delete it within a reasonable period unless retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our terms. You can also ask for a faster data deletion.
Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our Client Portal runs on a fully encrypted device. In general we try to encrypt data whenever we can.
From our business partners we require the same level of protection for any data we share with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, if changes are material, notify you via the Client Portal or email. The “Effective date” above will indicate the latest revision.
